Psalms Music Group announced the signing of William Smith and the Renewed Voices for Christ. RVC gained notoriety with two independent projects, "Just for You" and "Me and He Reigns." The choir has made appearances on The Oprah Winfrey Show and Bobby Jones Gospel in addition to accompanying Dr. Maya Angelou as she performed an original piece on the nationally televised White House Christmas Tree Lighting Celebration. Their new release entitled “Send the Praise Up” is produced by Chicago powerhouse Jeral V. Gray (New Direction, Chicago Mass) and is scheduled for a July 27th release.
Well, the wait is almost over as Pastor Smokie Norful’s Victory Cathedral Choir's debut project drops April 6th. Recorded 
live at the Fellowship Baptist Church, the project is said to feature "straight ahead Sunday Morning Songs” and stand out vocals from Smokie Norful, Keisha McFarland, Lenasia Tyson, and others. Kevin Vasser gets ready for his second live recording taking place at Fellowship Baptist Church on Saturday, March 27th. Kingdom Records is staying busy as Phil Tarver heads into the studio to put the finishing touches on his sophomore project recorded live on February 20th, while fellow label mates Shekinah Glory ministry is prepping for a live recording on May16th in celebration of their 10th year anniversary.
